Conditions of Warranty

Our warranty applies to manufacturing or design defects only and doesn't affect Australian customers' rights under the Australian Consumer Law. The warranty does not apply when:

  • The item has been damaged through misuse, alteration, neglect or accident.
  • Installation didn't follow our supplied instructions.
  • Installation wasn't consistent with the vehicle or equipment manufacturer's own guidelines.
  • The product was operated outside its specified voltage range.
  • There's evidence of unauthorised disassembly, repair or modification.
  • The claim relates to fitting, removal or diagnostic costs — this warranty covers the product itself, not associated labour.
  • The claim relates to wear and tear, including the coatings.
  • The claim relates to damage caused by corrosive or abrasive substances.
  • A faulty unit hasn't yet been returned to us (replacements are dispatched only once we've received it).
  • The claim falls outside the original purchase date — cover runs from the purchase date, and any replacement unit inherits only the time remaining on it.
  • The item has changed hands — cover applies only to the original purchaser and is not transferable.
